I should clarify I mean at, like, busy four-way stops and such. Or when I’m stopped and they blow through on cross. When it’s used more like a yield it’s fine.

The “idaho stop” is legal in many jurisdictions (like Oregon). As long as there’s no cross or oncoming traffic, you treat the stop sign as a yield.
