I suppose if they didn't report the real reason for PM Chretien's absence, RWNJs on social media would lie about it being to snub the King and PM Carney.

Meanwhile... I'm mulling over how any heart surgery/ procedure for a 91 yo can be considered "minor".🤷‍♀️

CBC missed the point of the Throne Speech delivered by the Monarch. They overlooked the importance of our constitutional monarchy system and missed an opportunity to reference other countries, such as Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Belgium, that also have monarchs. It was appalling coverage.
