(1/3) I recently commented on another lib’s question and BRIEFLY suggested using AI while continuing with other suggestions and more pertinent points made.
Had a couple people come at me for the AI part, and - no surprise here - they’re authors.

1. As a school librarian I need to know how to teach my students to use it responsibly.
2. It’s not going away.
3. It’s OBVIOUSLY not a reliable source for fact finding.
4. It’s in its infancy and it improving at an exponential rate.
5. Before I understood AI and how it can help educators, I hated it, too. But I went to a conference all about using tech in education. And my mind has been changed.
