Whilst we didn't publish a larpscript for it, there is a book about the design and the experience of the participants (not 'players') where all profits go to The Refugee Council.

This seems to me to be more performance activism. Not fixing anything, just reenacting and role playing tragedy rather than spending time and efforts into actually helping the people in need. It feels icky to me.

That’s why we worked with the charity partners - to try to avoid that. A significant number of participants either were or became activists as a result of their experience. It also generated money for the charities.

Did it fix things? No. Did it change some perceptions, we hope so.

"Worked with the charity partners" do you mean you worked with agencies trying to help or you actually talked to and worked with people affected by the tragedies? I'm honestly asking, there is a difference between working w/victims and working w/ agencies.

A lot of agencies don't accurately represent or even get direct info from the people they claim to help or represent. Perfect example is A$peaks. They claim to speak for autistics but don't actually listen to them and have zero autistics in their board.

I don't disagree with you about the example you have given. Not every charity has that problem. I'd gently suggest you read the newspaper article though, as the question you have asked is answered in there.
