Oh yeah, I hear you, and I understand that's a workaround. It's more that I'm worried that this is going to set some sort of precedent. Like, can any government just complain now, and get accounts silenced? Because that doesn't seem great
The problem is per country laws. Any apps, decentralized or not, that are available in a country has to follow this country rules. The good think with decentralized apps is that it affect only the client (the one that the country requires to follow their rules) but not the network.
I see what you're saying. Either they comply, or this bluesky app isn't available there at all.
Still, it'd be nice for them to offer some sort of clarification on the issue. Just be upfront about it. I get that they don't owe me that, but the transparency would be nice.
