Yeah that’s what I’ve generally heard, even though it was well regarded on launch. I have a soft spot for 1, and want to give 2 another try at some point. I liked the speed levels, but the others bummed me out.

I really recommend Sa2, it’s a lot of fun. Honestly outside of one or two levels I really do think the mech and treasure hunting stages are good.

Not really, the final boss is poorly communicated but it’s easy once you use tails.

The special stages i didn’t bother with at all.
