Holodomor was a program by Stalin which systematically starved the Ukrainian people for the purpose of stealing their agricultural resources and quelling Ukrainian autonomy. In 1933 and 1934, Soviet soldiers took any food crops from the farms and even out of the kitchens of the Ukrainian people.
