This is going to be difficult given how progressed the problems are.

This should have been started in the early 2000s, when the US was clearly signalling it's internal failures instead of repeatedly hoping on coin toss elections to keep going well.

I've known for a long time that we need a federal Europe or face disintegration. But it must be on shared values. Hungary should be invited to leave if they fail to adhere to those values. Sandwiched between Putin & Trump is not a place for ambivalence.

The most cohesive group in the EU are the nordic+baltic states, they could be the beacon Europe needs, the core of the future Federal Europe. Others would gradually join.
