Saw this with my 14 year old son. Had no idea about the adult content. Nothing scaring, frankly good for him to hear… also cringey to sit next to your mom and watch. Your mileage may vary. I’m not prudish about sex. Also read ratings!! So you aren’t like ohhhhhhhhh

There's a website called Does the Dog die dot com that started as what it sounds but now carries pretty spoiler free content warnings for most movies. You can even sort by type: I use it to see if movies have a hidden dead dad plot they didn't tell me about in previews. 😅

I’d still give it a shot. I didn’t think anything was gratuitous. The larger cultural messaging, cinematography, and storytelling are just so worth it. Again, i find horror movies to be largely lame, but this was just so well done.

I saw it today and I have never been so affected by a film. I love horror but this film transcends the genre in a way I never could have imagined. There wasn’t a single thing I would change. Miles Caton’s voice instant goosebumps.
