In the realm of fiction, I greatly enjoyed The Vorrh Trilogy by Brian Catling. Like Alan Moore, he weaves real characters into his fictional story lines. And his English is so very enjoyable. Originally a successful sculptor, amazingly the Vorrh was his first novel, written at the age of 70

The Lasker Story, which is old and out of print, but findable. It tells, in a boardroom setting, of a time when advertising agencies were at nearly acting like private equity firms, and were in a way, the precursors to venture capital — or at least, had some parallels with it.
