Yes, but the 2020 MOU changed the rules for 35+ contracts. Compensation must remain the same or increase each year and no signing bonuses beyond year 1.
I guess the question is whether the data we have now is accurate. Because he meets those conditions.
Hadn't read the MOU part but that makes sense. My reading would be that he can be sent down for cap relief as he meets the conditions, but the 35+ nomenclature still applies for things like buyouts
That's what I thought but the MOU clears that up (about saving cap this season). It does seem like the 35+ label still has some use though as the other rules still apply to them
