Yeah I kinda DO believe she was dead like a month before the press was officially told, no public appearances, was sick etc

They're not above doing stuff like that, they euthanized her dad so the morning papers had time to print it instead of it being first reported in the "disreputable" evening papers lol

I slightly misremembered and it was her grandfather, but: TECHNICALLY they just gave him a bunch of painkillers which would hasten his death (cocaine, morphine etc.), but still kind of messed up to state as one of the reasons "they felt the evening papers were *inappropriate*"
