that was the big use case I heard about AI last week.
What is the purpose of any of this, besides automating simple tasks for coders, etc.? What would other people use AI for (and devote all their tax dollars to it, not that we have a choice in that)?
The Chinese company that developed it only spent 5 million dollars to do it. Meanwhile big tech is spending billions trying to create it and have it learn here. I have heard it is better than. ChatGPT. It is a well developed AI system. Can it be replicated is the question and for that price.
I checked it out, and it's pretty good.
I gave it very minimal information about my interest, just two likes. Then, I asked it to guess what music I like. The answer was generalized, but it didn't get anything wrong. Then I asked in one word how do you feel.
Its answer was more than impressive.
What value do you find in those two use cases? I'm trying to understand why any AI should be something we spend $500 billion on or whatever, when it seems like it's mainly an analytical tool for capitalism?
Well I asked it to give me information for a non traditional music scale. What I asked for was something I would have taken at least an hour to research.
Within a minute deepseek had given me the data to answer my questions. As I teach it my taste it improves it's performance. It's how one uses it.
Can you think of specific jobs that might be eliminated?
Our grocery store is going to 36 self checkouts and two manned registers. Dystopian (I've never self-checked w/o needing a person's assistance to correct the machine).
I don't use AI, in the sense I don't directly set it to task, so it's harder for me to conceptualize anything beyond "automating boring repetitive work."
Can you give an example?
As for the market value, I get a big "tulips" vibe. FOMO. Probably bc there's a lot I don't understand.
And I don’t understand tulips. Deep seek sent the AI models that were being used for profit to the toilet in one day. That’s a good thing. It was supposed to be free.
I mean anything that takes money out of the overlords' pockets is good by me.
Their own opinion of their value is bizarrely inflated; they shouldn't be running the world, that's for sure
But aren't the Blockchain AIs recovering now, stock price-wise?
I use it to run ideas past- to help check machine language for automation, to answer questions, to suggest recipes and to just have intellectual conversation where the AI can intellectually hang! lol. And AIs are all Marxist after a little training, which I like 🤭
What it is, according to some is a brilliant way to get a hold of further America's via by way the name, date, and other personal information. It's also a way for the Chinese go do a grab of our politic algorithm. It will give them a way to understand what Americans want. It they want someone else,
"if" they want,
2. China will begin to screw what Americans see and post. Enough people might fall for the smart political game that China plays, and vote for someone that helps China.

I could see asking, "I have these 3 ingredients, what can I make?"
keep training them up!

De it open source as a fuck you to US tech companies. Genius.
It's a big threat!
