Pennsylvania children’s church bible study teacher, Michael Hess, who was arrested in September for molesting a 7 year old at church more than 30 times, has now been charged for sexually assaulting a young coworker.

Parents are so ignorant about whom the let around their children. "He's alright, he's a pastor"(...a cop, a firefighter, a teacher, a doctor, a judge, a guidance counselor, a scoutmaster). People who want to get access to kids are very good at doing whatever it takes to get parents to trust them.

Just to give you an idea, a friend of mine was molested by a family friend for years.

She was always a cheeky, energetic child. Got into trouble a bit.

The molester used that to control her, telling her no one would believe her and they would punished her, because she was a BAD girl

What's ironic is that the safest place for these people to prey on children with impunity is in the church. A place where church leaders would rather cover things up despite the actions being the antithesis of everything Jesus preached about regarding bringing harm to children. (Matthew 18:6)
