The abolition of “rollover” which gives the opportunity of the super rich corporations and individuals to buy land and not pay tax on the liquidation of assets was a missed opportunity by Labour as a tax loophole. However, the blanket policy of inheritance tax will ruin many small family farms.
These figures do not show agricultural land. Sadly deluded if you think farmers make massive profits. Last year the average income for a farm was £50000. Income not profit
