Same! Though, TBH, once dinner and dishes are done, I'm pretty much alternating reading a chapter w/SM scrolling. That changes once musical rehearsals start, though, but even getting home at 10:45pm leaves a good 45 minutes of reading time!
Yes that’s late getting home. I always have a book and would panic if I didn’t. I read in bed until I get sleepy. Some nights may only be 1/2 hr, sometimes as late as 2am if good book and I can’t sleep.
As a retired English teacher, I'm guilty soooooo often of reading until 3 or 4 am and then being book hungover the next day! I did it when teaching, and I still do it now that I'm working for Friend of the Court. MUCH easier these days as I don't have to face energetic students at 7:30am! 😂
I hear ya.
I always remember when I read Me Before You by Jojo Moyes. I just had to finish it and was bawling my eyes out at 2am. Of course no falling asleep after that. I was a mess for work in the morning.🥱
Same. Taught middle school English the last 10 years of my full time teaching career. Do you live in Michigan? I ask because of your Friend of The Court reference. I live in the Downriver area.
