Seeing Farke walk along the gantry last night, I wondered if it might be a positive in one way? His bird's-eye view of the game might give him a clearer view of things and is that why subs came earlier than the norm? #lufc

Sat pitch side loads with ticket lotto, and while I don't need me glasses as much, it's so much harder at ground level to judge everyone equally. Your field of view is narrow by comparison to even 15 rows back. Much better FOV wiout swinging neck about.
Do any PL clubs have gantry staff? In American football there's whole teams of coaches positioned above the field. I realize it's a very different sport but surely some feedback to the manager at the touchline would have value?
I think that it’s not needed in football - all the players are “sensored up” so the positional plays can be seen instantly on those big iPads we see in use on the bench….
That make sense?
😂 brilliant, Firpo mug incoming 👍
I just think when you get that high view, it's probably easier for one person to see patterns of behaviour, rather than a few looking at different areas or aspects. Like when we're watching us play out and our attackers are making runs. See it IRL but not on TV well
Supposedly live tracking data for our players but doubt the data is available to opposition. Might be worth an investment in a Bluetooth hacking team 😂
It makes me wonder at times, because you see so much more from an elevated view, but surely we have coaches up there anyway feeding info from an elevated view? Crazy if not, but I understand the importance of a coach on the sidelines.
Maybe he learned something last night in order to improve
I hope I don't regret this, but on the face of last two games, start Rothwell. I've enjoyed his progressive runs and his dead ball deliveries are the best we've got.

It’s also about how well drilled your team is, and how much discipline they have
It’s not like your left back is going to shamble up into the opponents penalty area is it…..
/Firpo :)

But
We know how much of a control freak Farke is - and he is like a data spider sucking in feeder information from the analysts and making the changes
I wonder if he might need a bucket to sit on……
