The issue with the IRS is that it’s chronically underfunded by the sorts of people who are anti-tax, so it hasn’t had the resources to properly investigate rich tax cheats, corporate tax cheats, and tax exempt orgs. Hopefully this is proof that more funding = equity in enforcement
