Also I love to hear everyone's opinions about candidates.
I love women running I'm just scared after Kamala that no matter how fucking awesome we are the US just isn't ready to properly break the glass ceiling (fully hate that for us)and maybe we gotta play it safe with Gavin, Pete, Beto one of em
I really didn't think this commemt would get so much traction
But it did and I think some real progress was made with civil discussion about where we are currently
So good job everyone
Jasmine Crockett showed her frustration on what seems like an inability for the party to follow the idea of at least weekly press releases with solidarity. Why is it so hard for our party to unite? You know think massage me and sexism lives on both sides of the aisle ??
It's very strange. In my local media comments allows me to edit. I know there have been requests sent to Blue sky, but it doesn't seem to have resonated yet
I love it; however, we’ve seen America choose an evil narcissistic felon, and poo tin boot licker over a well qualified, intelligent, woman who would have done great things for all Americans.
We had a chance with Bernie but the DNC made sure that could not happen and killed the hope of many. Harris had a good white dude but that didn’t help her. AOC and Crockett bring a new kind of energy. They “tell it like it is” but use fact instead of propoganda
Sounds fabulous! But I think we’re gonna need to nominate a tall white guy. And if he’s handsome, even better. Sad. But we’re still too racist and sexist. Not to mention afraid of strong, powerful women.
I sadly has this conversation this week with Alsobrooks' staff. As much as I'd love Pete and Crockett we need a straight white good looking man to get the votes. It sucks, I'm queer, I hoped to see more representation in my lifetime but I'd rather stamp out fascists and keep my local gov diverse
Go with Beshear. He's a Democratic governor in a red state that keeps getting elected and people like him. I hate it that I have to say white guy, but I think he makes sense and has a good chance of pulling people from both parties.
Sadly, I think you are quite correct. It seems that women being second class (2nd at best) is the one thing most men in America and a lot of women can agree on.
The whole Hillary debacle proved that. She didn't even get the support from our own party, it was the first time I was genuinely disappointed and disheartened by President Obama, whom I consider to be the best president of my generation
Harris lost many of us. Her message fell short, she embraced Goldman Sachs, was too confident. Two women will not win, we have slipped backward. Idea of male superiority has had a rebirth, influencing even liberal men who never fully embraced equality. Dem leadership is male, clinging to the past.
All interesting points, in line with some thoughts I have probably had. And sometimes I forget my liberal brain expects too much of our conflicted species
Bro are yall stupid? Two black women are never going to win an election in this country. Hell, a woman of any race probably won't win an election in this country for another 40 years.
First of all, I'm not a bro and I'm not your bro.
Secondly, I'm pretty sure I don't have the power to decide who's going to be running, this was just comments.
And third, I guarantee you I am far from stupid.
Try aiming higher than you can achieve and you might be surprised how far you can get
What makes it hard to turn Dems into a cult is also what makes it hard to get them all on the same page. Looks at us voters… 100 people you get 100 different ideas about what to do.
Like herding cats.

Male. It sucks but we do
Harris, Genocide Joe 2.0? 😒
I'm not saying never, but it feels like a long road still. Look how badly half the country reacted to Obama, a man who is half white.
People think we have to appeal to the center not realizing the even the center has shifted to the left.
Harris would be phenomenal. But much of America is still too Rush Limbaugh-pilled to accept it.
