Not just that, but it’s a completely unrelated sector. I’ve worked with a company called Bluesky for years and years, and I’d imagine there are numerous other companies with the same name, albeit doing different things.
I love being on Bluesky. I can chat to people here. I have a few followers here. Nothing ever happened on FB. I found FB to be as slooooooow as molasses.
I can go for weeks without looking at FB and I dont miss a thing. So now I havent been on FB in the last 4 weeks since i signed up for Bluesky.
Going on Bluesky after scrolling through Twitter is legitimately therapeutic. It feels like escaping from a screaming, rampaging mob into a nice quiet space where everyone keeps their voice down and there’s actual intelligent and normal conversation happening.
You know when you have to visit someone in the hospital and you’re all stressed but you find the “quiet room”? Going from twitter to blue sky is like that

"Whether you're flying high or need a little lift, BlueSky and Pfizer have got your back."
I wouldn't mind other-minded people being present if a) conversation was civil and b) they didn't steer unrelated conversations towards politics.
So while I would like a politically more diverse group, in today's environment that's not compatible with peace and quiet.
