Just subscribed! I would push back just a bit on the emails to members of Congress only bc the phones are jammed at times & I do get responses (from one at least) that suggest at least the intern read it! Perhaps most MCs don’t do this & respond only to the number of calls.

Too dismissive of letters. I worked in a Senate office, and every week our legislative correspondents (the folks dealing with the mail) gave the Senator a rundown of what was coming in, as well as a few illustrative examples. The Senator listened carefully and asked questions.

But, yes, do more.
