The way I did it in the past was trading it for a food tracking app and making that my addiction. I became super OCD about tracking everything, including having a Fitbit to give me calories back etc...

This is where I am at at 5mos in. But is that sustainable and or healthy? In the past this just lead to "hobby boredom" and scrapping the whole thing like any other 😬
IDK what is sustainable for you. I usually needed a secondary motivation also. Ie the first time it was to impress a girl that was also going to the gym and telling me to use MFP. The second time is after I had a diabetic stroke and realized I needed to loose 20lbs (I did in like 3 months)
See, this is a great reminder! Maybe I'll file this low motivation moment under Filtering (Disqualifying the positive) It's incredibly difficult 2 look to Tomorrow while satiating the instant gratification of Today.
