I'm still grieving the loss of our cat, 20 years old. We knew she was slowing down, but nothing prepared us for the end.

She went peacefully, in her Mama's arms. The vet saw to that.

We've never met, of course, but I will share your pain when Bunsen takes his leave.

What a beautiful story. I’m tearing up thinking of when my sweet girl died 5 years ago. I appreciate hearing about Bunsen since I’ve noticed we’ve seen less of him and I was concerned. I’m glad he’s doing well and just experiencing aging and nothing worse. Let’s hope it stays that way!

I can speak from experience when I say the grief is equal - I lost both my mum and my beloved Pippi in 2021 and I was just as devastated for both. Enjoy the time you have with your loved ones, both human and animal ❤️
