I bought my cat a robot cat who turns on and squiggles a laser around the living room every 15 minutes. It’s been so good for both of us.

Look for “Interactive Cat Laser Toy”
I spent under $20. Biggest issue is that it runs out of charge often. We resolved this by using battery banks. It’s been a game changer for our active kitty.
