I left school the day I turned 16 barely able to write my own name as the muscles would lock up in pain when I tried to write.
It was only after leaving school when I was given a fountain pen as a gift that I discovered I could write after all. Fountain pens require no pressure, so I can use them.

Also, all inks do not work in all pens. You will have to experiment, but that's the fun of it.
And, of course, the ink on your hands that make you look gangrenous.
