Absolutely. I bought a Hyundai Ioniq 6 rather than consider a Tesla - because of Musk. The Ioniq 6 has been a terrific car. I have no regrets. And - it is my first full EV, and honestly, I'd never go back. Best handling car I've had, tons of acceleration, quiet (!), reliable, efficient, fuel at home

I rented a Polestar for 60 days, abused the heck out of it, even slept in it between jobs. It was a really great car! Not a paid promotion — I just really hate Ęlon.

We have an adaptor they sent us to be able to use Tesla chargers - but intend to only ever use it if we’re stranded. I’m also seeing more NACS chargers popping up that are not operated Tesla. We’d gladly use those.

Having been an EV owner for almost 4 years, I think the concerns around charging networks are overblown. I can only think of a couple of times it’s even been an annoyance for me.

Totally. The media has been pushing fossil fuel industry propaganda forever. That’s only going to be worse with all of the cuts and attacks coming from Trump and the GOP.

I’m hoping EV owners like me and help counter that misinformation and encourage folks to make the switch. I’m so glad I did!
