Part of the problem is people are afraid to make a character who is a "good guy", because they think that makes the character boring, simplistic, and naive.
So instead it's all wishy-washy grey characters where everyone is just vaguely self-serving; and they think that makes the characters "deep"
Oh gosh, it's getting the reskeets! ( @davidallengreen.bsky.social I suspect you're behind that) If someone has a link to the original, please do share. I'm not on Mastodon, so I don't have one.
It's what the Zak Snyder films did not get. Superman genuinely enjoys helping people. He's multitalented, but he works as a journalist because he thinks the profession is important and he likes to write.
Idk...superman has always been the worst superhero for me. I think it's all the jesus/savior allegories that always seem to come through that I find bothersome.

I want to read the post to another person later on- and this seems to be the way to do it(?)
And I hope the other person gets a good giggle :)
He gets the joke, but knows they deep down it’s not very funny.
Frankly, if we are just going to skim our Replies to find the pins, any emoji will do!

That would make the Nazis lose their minds and would make him more relevant.
