It’s always subjective but I love mine. I will say that there were things that irked me like if you’re slow to wipe the grip section after refilling it can stain a bit and this stain your fingers. I bought mine from https://nibs.com and had them tune it so out of the box was wonderful.
Not that it's possible, but if you could, which would you say is the best pen regardless of price, prestige, nib material all that jazz. Just pure writing enjoyment.
Yeah. Reading all the reviews online a Pelikan M100 and an Ebonite KOP are levels above even the MB149 and Visconti Home Sapien. I don't own any of these pens yet lol. I am not rich enough.
Is the KOP writing experience really out of this world? Apparently, it's truly something special. Same for the M1000. I don't hear so many people talk up the 149 as they do these other two.
For me it’s one of the most enjoyable despite it being so large mine is also light making it easy to write for a longer period of time without fatigue.
The M1000 I’ve yet to write with but from testimony I like that it’s a soft writer compared to the M800 and others. I want an M149 too

The KOP demonstrator I got directly from Japan via eBay so it was 300 dollars cheaper

And an m1000
