The thing that's keeping me, an Annual Pass holder and DVC , from spending more at Disney is them not bringing back merchandise transfers to the front of the park or hotel. I've noticed how much less merch I've been buying, post COVID, because I don't want to lug it around the park all day
Between the loss in previously free items, up-charging every experience, and getting lazy with maintenance/quality; it's hard to justify their pricing strategy. Disney is just squeezing money wherever they can. And they don't need to, they are well off.
I’d have to agree with the comments. We used to go all the time but the parks are more expensive with little to no reward. It used to be so magical but now it feels sort of like a chore
I'd be curious to see how many of those would shift to Universal now with Epic opening. Disney are entering a phase where a decent number of attractions are closing. I can see folks holding off to get the 'complete' experience with Villains land etc. Even then, their ambition seems limited.

It should not be surprising that customers getting charged a lot more for a similar experience as years earlier are upset.
