It is so cute the way my orange cat does not understand blankets. He knows he wants to be under them but has no idea how to get in there other than to try digging straight through. I love him so. π»

I had a tuxie who would decide she wanted under the covers with me when it was cold and I was asleep. She would wake me by pawing firmly at the covers till I woke up and lifted them up for her
Our Babycat loves being under the covers. Sometimes in her efforts to get under them, she will pull all of them off of the bed into a pile on the floor which she is underneath.

My Lucky burrows. I say, "Lucky, your last name isn't [REDACTED], it's Burrows! You're related to George Burrows!". He then looks up at me with that sweet, vacant, orange face, and purr-drools.
My little gray and white cat, who's now crossed the rainbow bridge, never knew how to get out from UNDER blankets. She could not figure out that she could just borrow her way to the edge and poke her face out. Scared herself to death every time.

We call it "blanketing". It's a sport.
