(with a caveat that Durbin's a piece of shit who helped Schumer pull our pants around our ankles on the CR vote, so I explicitly said "You should probably preserve as many voting rights as you can because I have a passport already and I'll be voting against you in the next election.")

In literally every other country, a passport is required for both domestic and international travel. Their driver's licenses and state IDs don't have anywhere near the same amount of power as the ones Americans use

It's just a rehash of the previous evils done against black citizens, as stated. Plus, the passport costs can easily be construed as a poll tax. Another relic of an EVIL era, but no less present. Their fucking evil is boundless, and it is resilient. They'll never stop these attacks on democracy.
