I am looking a project that I have worked on a couple of months ago. I don't even remember how to run it anymore. This is why you need to write a good README to your future self.

Try asking copilot. I've been using it recently to help me generate my https://README.md's and it gets pretty close. I still have to tweak it but I imagine it may help refresh your memory for your situation.
This is not a standard project 😅 I am using #ziglang to generate arm64 assembly and then use gcc inside a docker container to run it. I am not sure what to prompt it to make it write README. May be Cursor editor can write it based on project structure.
