I practiced at Big Law for 3 years and realized that even the most "progressive" firms made huge profits representing companies that screw over the rest of us. But money talks - 19 years later I still make less money than I did as a first year lawyer. Worth it. Even with paying loans until I'm 62.

If the justice system is gutted, and replaced by a regime where cronyism makes adherence to laws optional, who will want to hire skilled lawyers trained to counsel clients on complying with the law?
That's a question lawyers thinking about joining Trump's attack on the rule of law should be asking.
