I used both of those for my last two Advents of Code.

I really, really enjoyed my time with Swift. The cross platform tools aren't quite perfect yet, but they work. Zig is very cool, but I'm holding out for 1.0. Stuff still changes pretty quickly, and lots of online docs are already outdated.
