I had a pretty fire shop drop I was anticipating. I was looking forward to dropping new designs especially now that I want to sell more at local events.

Still sucks though I really hope that something can be done or if anything other postal services here will step up. I know USPS isn't the only postal service here.

It's not, but it's the only one that is an official unit of the government. The others (UPS, Fedex, DHL) are all private companies, and are unlikely to take on extra work for no profit. It's possible individuals waiting on packages could try to get the folks shipping stuff to use one of the others,

Also, while many large packages ship via ups or fedex, this absolutely screws up any small orders that could have more cheaply shipped via usps. Like, all my cat toys I order.
