Books end up being a product of who you are.
I wish I'd written the unwritten works I would have written if I felt safe and confident enough to focus on writing from a young age.

I'd give several organs/body parts to be able to write *like* Terry Pratchett or Roger Zelazny.
But to write *their* books, I'd have to become them, and not be myself anymore. I think I've got at least a couple things going for me, writing-wise.

It's not the most practical choice, though, so we shouldn't beat ourselves up too much. Woulda should coulda is such a terrible mind virus.
