Omg! I see your extra wire. When I got my last batch I had a reg. Rat cage . They were used to being in a big Tupperware so the cage was a big open for them. And one guy immediately tried to go thro the bars and he got stuck! Then another rat came over and he tried to get stuck🤦‍♀️I got him out

Without the wire, they can go out. They can’t get stuck, there’s a lot of attach so even if they go through the bars, they won’t get far.

Yeah, that’s what I had to do too. I had to run to the local hardware store to do the same! 🤦‍♀️
