Yeaa! A little confused on stuff like making objects smoother. Or is that a beginning of making the object mesh thing only.
And the UV stuff he didn't go through but i can kinda play with it and understand especially with SL's experience of UV haha

I'm no expert, but I think that's primarily done when creating a new object. I know you can use the sculpting tools, and modifiers to do it too though.
