I feel like this should be the signal that we need forums dedicated to hobbyist topics to come back into style

Post IPO enshittification in full swing, I see.

I honestly don't know how people can still use the site. It's so overrun by bots and without the good apps, barely usable.

"requiring staff approval" is the same thing as taking that power away entirely, since Reddit routinely ignores routine support requests

I'm not sure what that place's future is going to look like, I think the loss of trust and expertise from last year is going to have a ripple effect
