I had a realization when I got into both competitive barbecue & storytelling at the same time. Barbecuers tended to be secretive & close with their tips, aid, & friendship; storytellers were kind, welcoming, and helpful to newcomers. I didn’t have time for both hobbies. Made the choice easy. 1/2
