Indeed. Here in🇬🇧we simply do not understand🇺🇸resistance to bring the Constitution up to date re gun ownership; plenty of other Amendments have been made. We fail to get why you can't Police 'by consent' as we call it here, rather than by force.

When students post preset brawls on TikTok, someone has to prevent injuries or death...teachers, principals? Untrained people will hurt students or be hurt. And, police will be called to arrest violent students. Your solution?

True! If we compare this to Maslows Heirarchy of needs they are activity making the school feel less safe, and they're not undermining a sense of belonging.
Police don't prevent violence, they are there to contain it...in 1975, the kids that didn't want to go to school, dropped out and went to work....today that notion is thought of as being abhorrent....hey, I'm just pointing out how times have changed.
