Heck, when my kids were little and I was struggling up and down curbs with their stroller, wheelchair ramps were godsends! I was also furious on behalf of wheelchair users whenever some overentitled car owner parked in the crosswalk, or worse, ON the ramp, blocking it from being used. Still am!

Exactly. I love closed captions when watching TV in the kitchen. And wheelchair accessible curbs are more functional overall. Also, we all become disabled eventually.

"DEI hires" aren't a thing. DEI is about companies putting employees through pro forma "training" they can repeat until they get it right in order to avoid lawsuits. Of course, this regime wants to make it impossible to sue over discrimination too. Which will mainly hurt women. Welcome to Gilead.
