One of the main reasons we have a two-party system is because it prevents either one from becoming a Labor party whose main focus is on making things better for workers instead of culture war issues they use to keep as at each other's throat

In Canada the votes are always split between the Liberals and NDP and the Cons concentrate all their votes for their ONE party. Cons are winning all the time because of that. It sucks.
What about a day of fasting (only drinking water). During that day we wouldn’t buy anything either. Fasting helps people clear their minds, and we are going to need clear minds to fight against the 2nd round of the administration coming to power
Dems can run pro-labor candidates in red districts where they'd lose on culture war issues. I'm not sure if they're doing this now. Dems should make labor issues and unions more of a priority.
The point of the post is that a two-party system enables bad actors to use culture war issues to keep the working class split up instead of focused on making things beetter for all of uss
You seriously have to check out this movie.
It's streaming on netflix now.
It's all about exactly what you're talking about
'Social Capital'
Will also tell you how to help fix it where you are💙
Oh my gosh, I would so be in!
I watched it, and I am currently forming a small group myself
I'm thinking of making it a requirement because it just explains the importance of group work and how it strengthens the concept of democracy !
I know, I was just commenting that we're supposed to have one but they're Labour in name only.
As the Conservatives have moved further to the right, so have Labour and are more of a centrist party now.
True socialists in the UK, especially England are now politically homeless.

What if we organized a weekend where no one made any purchases at all as a show of protest?
A Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in early January as a sign of our strength
Who would be up for it

Yes, that would be awesome!❤️
They've abandoned nearly everything about being a workers party
