Its not a shock but it is frustrating - I've been working on my billionaire romance series for a while now and hoped to publish this year. But hey - I guess that's just the way of things.

They'll come back eventually. Trends are circular. I talked to an agent a couple months ago who said vampires are back but publishers beg her to please not send any more rom com.

I also get a pulse of what readers want in some of the larger groups on FB. Lots of requests for dad bods and vigilantes lately. Oddly lots of requests for blue collar in the past 6 months.

Lots of info from several places. Agent in question was on a panel with me at an event. Otherwise, good info found in author groups on FB or just chatting with other authors.
