Like I can see what they were going for but talk about visually burying the lead. You actually have to work at reading it to see what it's an ad for, which won't really happen for the vast majority of people who were flicking through ads in a gaming magazine back in the day. Bizarre.

I'm on the fence as to whether this is better or worse than those insane PS2 print ads you'd see back in the day where a woman's fucking the buttons or the guy's head is turning into a mosaic. I guess those are at least memorable.
