Probably not, which is why I said it’s symbolic. It doesn’t change anything either way for either racer, but I would assume it helps with chemistry. Who knows, maybe it makes a difference between 4 & 5 spot between Piastri and Sainz
Im not saying I disagree with you (regarding Sprint importance) … but I think Lando wouldn’t mind swapping places in a GP race at this point in the season if him and Piastri were P1 and P2 and it was for the purpose of paying Piastri back. It’s just a harmless classy move when WDC is off the table
