Where do you think they got the idea? We pre-Lunchable mom’s were already sending the homemade version in our kids lunches before we could buy them (and even after bc our versions were better).
That used to be my kids’ favorite lunch in the 90’s, we called it “Odds and Ends”. When they were older I bought trays with little compartments for the grapes, crackers, cheese cubes, salami, etc. and we still use them for appetizers on holidays.
