I am so sorry for this young man, his family & his friends. There’s no reason insulin was that high, but it was! There have been changes for both insured & uninsured people who need insulin. Let’s help get the word out on insulin & other medications having lower prices.
Drug companies often have Patient Assistance Programs for low income folks, but the working poor may not qualify. This is sad. We are a wealthy developed country. We can afford to care for our ppl, but we somehow lack the will to do it. Instead we play act that we're poor and can't afford it.
