That’s true but the house and senate are controlled by republicans. Articles of impeachment are drawn up by the house, then voted on before sending them to the senate. Unless Dems can take the majority after the 22 elections, impeachment won’t happen

People keep making the mistake of believing rules actually mean anything.

The US is purely into vibes and intentions territory now, the rules are merely guidelines which can be as easily ignored as they can be followed.
