There was also a special election for a State House seat in Iowa in a deep red district. The Democrat lost 52-48, but she outperformed the race that happened in November by 24 points.
Unbelievable that even now a democrat loses. Can anyone interpret that? Are there few people in Iowa who are affected by Trump's current policy? Who can pay for their own health care and education, who are corrupt themselves, who find a healthy living environment unimportant?
And the Dems came close in Iowa's state House special election for the 100th district - it was a R+8 district and the Dem only lost by about 3.2%, a massive overperformance in a Trump+27 district.
Yes, the Minnesota state House special election was an overperformance as well.
Probably not noticed by many, but this is very good in terms of protecting the next election. Democrats now have the ability to prevent GOP tampering/suppression in enough places that GOP can't outright steal majorities of the House, Senate, nor electoral college.

She will be an excellent replacement of The Felon's friend, Matt Gaetz who stepped down in shame.
